I was introduced to the concept of the website in 1994 when I was only 17 years old, and I am an art director and project coordinator with a high work experience, as a result of my steady work in the same sector since then.

Between 1994-1997, I stepped into professional life by designing the first websites and international catalogs of the largest factories in the region from Mersin, the city where I grew up, to Gaziantep, which is a developed city in the field of industry. Since the number of people who produced websites was very small in those years, I contributed to most of the global companies taking the first step into the digital world.

In 1997, we created sodium corporate consulting, one of the first known digital agencies in Turkey, in Beyoglu with Tarkan Açan, one of the leading names in the IT industry, and produced professional services for companies such as Is Bankasi, Garanti Bankasi, Henkel, Turkcell, Renault, Telsim.

In 2000, while continuing my professional career in web design, I succeeded in the exam I took and won the Faculty of Engineering at Bosphorus University. During my university years, I continued to serve companies such as Daihatsu, Is Bankası, Promotürk, Show TV, Turkcell, without taking a break from my business life.

In 2002, I received trainer training certificates from Medyasoft (Adobe) and Microsoft, and I played a role in bringing in around 1,250 people to the sector by providing training and certification of IT personnel of conventional agencies and known corporate companies within companies such as Datatraining and Netron Technologies.

In 2003, I was the general coordinator of the Office programs and advanced Excel training at the banking level at the training center of Akbank’s 4350 personnel in Istanbul Zincirlikuyu, ensuring both the writing of the curriculum and the training. Immediately after, I worked as the project coordinator in the project of transferring the Savings Deposit and Insurance Fund (TMSF) building to the intranet and internet environment.

Thanks to the increasing number of web portals in those years, animated advertisement banners prepared with Flash and Flash websites that were more interesting than normal websites became very popular. For this reason, I have come to a sought-after position in advertising campaigns.

I signed an agreement with ISOBAR, one of the most widespread media planning agencies in the world, and started to produce advertising materials for many giant brands in Turkey and around the world. In this process, I received local and global awards with creative advertising campaigns and additionally Flash websites.

Thanks to the size of the projects I was involved in, I improved myself a lot in managing large teams which have more than 150 employees and worked as General Coordinator, Sr. Art Director, and Sr. Project Manager.

Today, I continue as part of a team that provides consultancy services as professional sector dinosaurs in its field, as in sodium’s atomic number, with our agency we established in 1997 under the name of sodium.
